The Women’s Center
The Women’s Center is an action-oriented group concerned with the life of Princeton Theological Seminary. The organization provides a supportive sisterhood for women interested in the Seminary to feel, speak and act.
We believe women were created to participate fully in the joys and responsibilities of life. The Women’s Center will seek to be responsive to the political, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of the women of the Princeton Theological Seminary community so that we may become the women we have been called to be. We are committed to working for the placement of Seminary women in leadership positions in the church and the academy.
We seek to be an inclusive community which ministers to women of diverse ages, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, life circumstances, denominations, theologies, and ideologies.
We meet casually for lunch and conversation every Tuesday in the Women’s Center space in the basement of Mackay. We regularly offer worship services, Lunch and Learn speaker series and special events, including So You Say I Preach Like A Woman and performances of The Vagina Monologues.
