There now exists and will always exist a group of seminarians at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) that seek to enhance their academic, theological, and social experience here through the speaking of French. These students’ many years of French study have given them a keen desire to continue to speak that language with peers at the seminary on a consistent basis as well as to have additional activities that would allow for seamless practicing, fine-tuning and enjoying of the language of diplomacy and the academy. To that end, they have formed the Society of French-Speaking Princeton Seminarians known as The French Club. Activities include but are not limited to: weekly French Table, a Taizé Service, and the Annual Soirée. The French Club actively seeks collaborations with other organizations to enhance the overall quality of life at PTS and the wider world.
