The Lutheran Group
Lutherans in Diaspora Conference
The Lutheran Group is hosting the 39th annual Lutherans in Diaspora conference at Princeton Theological Seminary, March 10–11, 2017. This year’s conference commemorates the Reformation quincentennial. The keynote speaker is The Rev. Dr. Timothy Wengert. See the schedule and register here. register here.
The Lutheran Group is the seminary’s ultimate resource for students, spouses and other members of the PTS community who want to learn more about worship and ministry in the Lutheran tradition. Within our ecumenical context, we seek to instigate theological dialogue, to encourage Lutheran fellowship, to nurture Lutheran students in their denominational identities and to guide and support students who are pursuing Lutheran ministries, both lay and ordained. Some of our most popular events on campus include the Meat & Greet Fall Kickoff BBQ, the Reformation Day celebration, Lefse Night with Dr. Olson, the annual Lutherans in Diaspora conference, and weekly Holden Evening Prayer services.
The Lutheran Group is also proud to announce the 2015 launch of the Lutheran Studies Concentration, an academic program that constitutes part of an M.Div degree and that specially prepares students in the areas of Martin Luther, the German Reformation, the Lutheran Confessions and Case Studies in Lutheran Ministry. Questions about the Concentration, or interested in declaring it? Please contact the Admissions Office for more information, or email PTS.Lutherans@gmail.com!
